There is still space available to attend the Divine Services this Sunday, Oct. 25. In compliance with Montgomery County regulations, we were able to further expand participation and attendance at the Divine Liturgy in the main Sanctuary and Chapel. Live- stream will still be available.

  • MWOSH Groundbreaking: Friday, Oct. 23 at Noon. In 2018, the St. George Parish Council approved the sale of the churchproperty at 7733 Bradley Boulevard to Metropolitan Washington Orthodox Seniors Housing (MWOSH), to help provide essential care, support, and services for the elderly members of our congregations. We are pleased to announce the groundbreaking for the project construction, where Father Dimitrios will preside over the blessing ceremony. Please join us and the MWOSH board at the property for the special occasion, as we launch this Christian undertaking to better minister to our elderly.
  • GOYA: Collecting items for Comfort Cases through Saturday, Oct. 24. The collection box is located next to the ATM machine. Items requested include boy’s pajama sets in sizes 8,10,12,14,16; baby blankets, baby stuffed animals, baby travel kits, baby toothbrushes, and baby wash clothes.
  • Halloween Festival at St. George- open to ALL Parish children: Per the attached flyer, Hope & Joy is planning a safe, free and fun event for all parish children. Masks mandatory. Due to county restrictions, space is limited. Please use the following link to sign up for a time slot to attend between 3-5pm on Saturday, Oct. 31. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0444afa628a2ff2-joyhope
